CrimeFest - 39 Steps (Days) away.

It's 9 April and here in Northamptonshre it's a lovely sunny day. I feel I should be outside in the garden drinking it in, but I have just downloaded the CrimeFest programme and felt that I should  share with you all some of the marvellous events listed.

First off at 1.30pm on the 18 May, we have

Debut Authors: An Infusion of new blood.


Steph Broadribb was born in Birmingham and grew up in Buckinghamshire where she interviews authors and reviews the latest releases.
Most of her working life has been spent between the UK and USA. As her alter ego – Crime Thriller Girl – she indulges her love of all things crime fiction by blogging at Steph is an alumni of the MA in Creative Writing (Crime Fiction) at City University London, and she trained as a bounty hunter in California. She lives in Buckinghamshire surrounded by horses, cows and chickens. Deep, Down, Dead is her debut novel.

David Coubrough is the author of the thrilling, dark Half a Pound of Tuppenny Rice
Novel writing is something of a departure for the entrepreneur David Coubrough, who made a name for himself in the hospitality business.

Lucy V Hay  is an author and script editor, living in Devon with her husband, three children and six cats. Lucy is the associate producer of Brit Thrillers Deviation (2012) and Assassin (2015) both starring Danny Dyer.
  
Mary Torjussen grew up in Stoke-on-Trent. There was no television in her family home so books have always been her escape - she spent hours reading and writing stories as a child. Mary has an MA in Creative Writing from Liverpool John Moores University, and worked as a teacher in Liverpool before becoming a full-time writer. She has two adult children and lives on the Wirral, where her debut novel, Gone Without a Trace, is set.
